This banner features intricate embroidery and bright colours, along with magnificent craftsmanship. It consists of two pieces of ruby red velvet sewn in place, back-to-back. The obverse features the right-facing bust of Vladimir Lenin in the centre in a beige-coloured cotton, the embroidered outline and detailing of the bust in two shades of brown threading, the bust fronting a circular background in cherry red cotton, the outer frame of the circle in brown and yellow embroidery, inscribed in light yellow embroidered text "ПРОЛЕТАРИИ ВСЕХ СТРАН СОЕДИНЯЙТЕСЬ !" (Workers of the World Unite!) above the bust, the hammer and sickle in light brown cotton with dark brown and yellow embroidery below the bust and flanked by ribbons in scarlet red cotton with two shades of red embroidery, along with clusters of oak leaves and laurel leaves in light brown cotton with light green and dark brown embroidery. The reverse illustrates the State Emblem of the Soviet Union in the centre, the emblem featuring the globe with the land masses in brown cotton and the bodies of water in blue cotton, the latitude and longitude rules on the globe in brown embroidery, the overlying hammer and sickle in light brown and dark brown embroidery, the elements framing the globe consisting of yellow embroidered wheat sheaves on brown cotton, the star and ribbon banners in red cotton and detailed in yellow embroidery, with strands of yellow and dark brown embroidery between the ribbon banners, the sunburst in yellow cotton and its emanating rays in yellow embroidery, with the one line of text above and the three lines below the emblem in light yellow embroidery, the text in Russian running script and designating it as a Socialist Competition banner. The hoist sleeve is placed on the right side, measuring 80 mm in width, while the other three sides incorporate a 75 mm long yellow braided fringe, the banner measuring 163 cm in width x 125 cm in height.
