What's a max bid?

In silver, obverse illustrating the right-facing bust of Pope Pius XI, surrounded by the Latin inscription "PIVS XI PONT MAX ANNO JVBILAEI", reverse illustrating Jesus Christ standing in front of a waist-high wall on a balcony, with three angels blowing trumpets on either side, the dome of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome in the distance, inscribed on the wall in Latin "ANNO JVBILAEI / ROMAE MCMXXV" on the left and "PAX CHRISTI IN REGNO CHRISTI" to the right, measuring 32.7 mm in diameter, light contact, original ribbon, near extremely fine.
