In silver, obverse illustrating the Magi, with the baby Christ in front, being held and supported by the Virgin Mary, surrounded by the inscription in Latin "CHRISTO + ECCLESIAM + OFFERT" and inscribed "4 6 1 1964" (January 4-6, 1964, the dates of Pope Paul VI's visit to the Holy Land) below, engraver marked "LORIOLI", reverse illustrating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, surrounded by the inscription in Latin "PAVLVS PP VI PEREGRINVS IN TERRA SANCTA", marked "800" (silver), engraver marked "GIUSEPPE PIRRONE" and hallmarked below Christ' s feet, measuring 36.5 mm (w) x 42.8 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, scattered surface wear, original ribbon, near extremely fine.
