What's a max bid?

Yugoslavia, Kingdom. An Army Officer's Dagger, Model 1939

Dagger with a polished nickel-plated steel blade, magnetic, with semi-sharp edges and a semi-sharp tip. The obverse ricasso is etched with the Kingdom of Yugoslavia coat-of-arms, while the reverse is etched in Serbian script "ОФИЦИРСКА ЗАДРУГА" (Officers' Cooperative) within a rectangular frame, with a leather washer with the upper finished in black at the base of the blade, exhibiting marks common to extraction from the scabbard along with moderate surface wear on the blade and measuring 235 mm in length. The s-shaped crossguard is in bronze, the ferrule designed with wreathing, the handle in dark brown celluloid with ten recessed rows which are wrapped in a single row of twisted blackened copper wire, the pommel in blackened metal and bearing the Royal crown and finished with a circular disk. The dagger measures 355 mm in length overall, the shaft and celluloid grip slightly loose versus the body of the dagger. The accompanying scabbard is in bronzed metal, the body of which is embossed with oak leaves, with three bronzed adornments on the body, a locket, a central band and a chape, each with a narrow central band of oak leaves. The locket has the Kingdom of Yugoslavia coat-of-arms in bronze affixed, the locket and central band with large suspension rings for accommodating the hangers on a belt, while the chape is finished with a large ball finial. The scabbard measures 242 mm in length and is free of dents and exhibits a few light contact marks. Very fine.
