Yugoslavia, Serbia. Six Chetnik Soldier Photographs

One photo illustrates a seated soldier with his rifle and reading a note in a wooded setting, a second photo shows three soldiers sitting in a barracks, another has six helmeted soldiers standing in front of a building, the fourth photo has a group of soldiers marching in the streets and carrying large wreaths with rail tracks to the right, the remaining two photos shows two groups of soldiers, one of a group of eleven taken in a studio, the other of a very large group of soldiers taken in a field before a wooded backdrop. All are in black and white, one having faded to a sepia-toned look, three with a gloss finish, three with a matte finish, five with postcard style backers, three bearing inscriptions on their reverses, all with straight edges, ranging in size from 137 mm (w) x 88 mm (h) to 140 mm (w) x 90 mm (h), three exhibiting very light soiling, the other three are very clean and crisp, near very fine to near extremely fine.
