Yugoslavia, Serbia. Eight Chetnik Photographs
Six photos are of single soldiers, three of which are in a studio setting, one of which is studio marked below the photo, one has a soldier standing beside an exterior wall, one is on a motorcycle, one is in front of a sentry box, while the other two photos illustrate two and four soldiers in front of a building respectively. All are in black and white, one without tonal value, four with a gloss finish, four with a matte finish, five with postcard style backers, two bearing inscriptions on their reverses, one is photographer stamped in blue ink, one of which has a stamping in red ink, five with scalloped edges, the other three with straight edges, ranging in size from 79 mm (w) x 117 mm (h) to 100 mm (w) x 145 mm (h), two exhibiting light soiling, one with creasing and crazing present, the other five are very clean and crisp, near fine to extremely fine.
