Yugoslavia, Serbia. Eight Chetnik Photographs
One photo illustrates two soldiers from the shoulders up, another features a group of six in a POW camp, while the other six photos feature large groups, five of which show soldiers in training exercises, marching and in front of a barracks, the sixth photo taken in a studio setting with the collar tabs on the uniforms colourized in red. All are in black and white, two having faded to a sepia-toned look, five with a gloss finish, three with a matte finish, all with postcard style backers, three bearing inscriptions on their reverses, one of which has a POW camp stamping in red ink, one with scalloped edges, the other seven with straight edges, ranging in size from 135 mm (w) x 85 mm (h) to 140 mm (w) x 90 mm (h), three exhibiting light soiling, one with extensive soiling, the other four are very clean and crisp, near fine to near extremely fine.
