Yugoslavia, Serbia. Six Second War Chetnik Photographs
One photo illustrates two soldiers standing being a man and woman in the prone position, each with a weapon, three are group photos of soldiers, one of which has most of them on a balcony, the other two taken in the field with their weapons, the fifth photo illustrates four soldiers with four women, the remaining photo has six women standing behind a seventh one who is kneeling. All are in black and white, one having faded to a sepia-toned look, four with a gloss finish, two with a matte finish, all with postcard style backers, two bearing inscriptions on their reverses, one with scalloped edges, the other seven with straight edges, ranging in size from 132 mm (w) x 90 mm (h) to 140 mm (w) x 90 mm (h), one exhibiting light soiling, four with extensive soiling, one of which entails tearing and is missing a piece at the upper right, the remaining photo very clean and crisp, poor to near extremely fine.
