Yugoslavia, Socialist Federal Republic. An Order of the Yugoslav Flag, I Class Set, Cased
(Orden jugoslovenske zastave). Instituted in 1947. Badge: in die-stamped fire gilt silver, unmarked, measuring 111.5 mm (w) x 62 mm (h), secured in place by three prongs to its full-length sash that incorporates a decorative moiré pattern and features a large bow-tie; and Breast Star: multi-piece construction, insignia in silver gilt with red, white and blue enamels, mounted to a ten-pointed star base, each star point point with three large emanating rays, with three shorter emanating rays between of the larger rays, hallmarked with a rooster surrounded by a "B" and "II" (900 silver) within a hexagon-shaped border, marked "900" (silver) and maker marked "IKOM" on the reverse, measuring 78.3 mm (w) x 82.3 mm (h), vertical pinback, crazing evident in the red and white enamels at the lower left of the flag insignia. Together, near extremely fine. In their hardshelled case of issue, red dimpled exterior, inscribed "ORDEN JUGOSLOVENSKE ZASTAVE SA ZLATNOM ZVEZDOM NA OGRLIGI" in gold-coloured ink on the lid, inside lid in white nylon, padded and bearing the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia coat-of-arms, base in black felt but is missing its raised platform as evidenced by the tabs placed on either sidewall, measuring 152 mm (w) x 242 mm (h) x 50 mm (d), exhibiting creasing and indentations on the lid, case better than very fine.
