Layaway Policy

eMedals INC. is pleased to offer flexible layaway services to all clients. Our layaway program offers the opportunity for clients to make payments on eligible items over a period of three (3) months.

A minimum deposit of 30% of the total price of your order including all applicable taxes and Buyer’s Premium, is due at the time of initial purchase. The total price of your order must be paid within three months from the date of original purchase.

You may make additional payments at any time by accessing the Layaway section in your account or by calling our office and submitting payment details.

Your contract will be automatically cancelled and ordered merchandise will be returned to inventory if full payment is not submitted by the three (3) month deadline.

What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Includes:

1. Order of the People's Army with Silver Star, III Class (Orden narodne armije). Instituted in 1952, discontinued in 1991. Multi-piece construction, insignia in silvered and gilt bronze with white enamels, mounted to a five-pointed silver star base with multiple emanating rays, hallmarked with a rooster surrounded by a "B" and "II" (900 silver) and maker marked "IKOM" on the reverse, measuring 67.5 mm (w) x 66 mm (h), vertical pinback, intact enamels, light contact.

2. Order of Military Merit with Silver Swords, III Class (Orden za Vojne Zasluge). Instituted in 1952. Multi-piece construction, in silver gilt with red enamels, hallmarked with a rooster surrounded by a "B" and "II" (900 silver) and maker marked "IKOM" and measuring 64.8 mm (w) x 65.5 mm (h), vertical pinback, chipping evident in the red enamels on both the flames and star, the red star loose versus the shield. Together, better than very fine.

 

Footnote:

1. The Order of the People's Army was instituted on January 1, 1952 and discontinued in 1991. It was awarded for services to the Armed Forces, and for successful peacetime command, in three grades: Order of the People's Army with Laurel Wreath (I Class), Order of the People's Army with Gold Star (II Class) and Order of the People's Army with Silver Star (III Class).

2. The Order of Military Merit was established on January 1, 1952 and awarded to commanding officers, who in times of peace, achieved success in the executions of their tasks in the unit they command or of military institutions, along with being awarded to the civilians who achieve results of significance for national defence. It may also be awarded to foreign military persons. It was awarded 94,684 times, in three classes: with Grand Star (I Class), with Gold Swords (II Class) and with Silver Swords (III Class).
