Yugoslavia, Socialist Republic. An International Volunteers of Liberty Table Medal 1936-1966
Instituted in 1966, (Komemorativna stolna medalja Međunarodnih volontera slobode), in silvered bronze, obverse illustrating a stylized map of Spain fronted by a large fist above a globe bearing a large star, bearing by the dates "1936,1966", surrounded by the Spanish inscription "VOLUNTARIOS INTERNACIONALES DE LA LIBERTAD" (translation: International Volunteers of Liberty), reverse engraved to "ABRAMOVIČ JOSIPU" above the Croatian inscription "SKUPŠTINA GRADA ZAGREBA" (translation: Assembly of the City of Zagreb) and the date "30. X 1966.' (October 30, 1966), measuring 70.6 mm in diameter, scattered silvering wear, in extremely fine condition. In its blue hardshelled case of issue, inside lid in white satin-like cloth, base trimmed in white cord and incorporating a recessed medal bed in red felt, fine.
