Institution Date January 28, 1919. Type II. A cross pattee in silver with white enamel arms, and a blue and white enamel rose obverse center medallion, crowned lions holding swords in each quadrant, reverse plain white enamels, marked AT denoting Tillander manufacture, the Finnish crown, and a silver 813H mark denoting manufacture between 1895-1972, measuring at 49.9mm (w) x 54.8mm (h- to top of suspension ring) and weighing at 39.7 grams, on period neck ribbon, intact enamels, light wear, in extremely fine condition.

Contained in the original case of issue, blue leatherette exterior with Finnish lion on the lid, marked “A.TILLANDER" on the interior silk lid, with recessed blue velvet medal bed, hinged at the front, clasp and hinge functional, wear to silk over the hinge, remains in very fine condition.
