Five Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) "Wings Over Borden" Magazines 1942

All are identified as "Volume 1", with five of the first six editions included in this group: Number 1 (July 1942); Number 2 (August 1942); Number 3 (September 1942); Number 4 (October 1942); and Number 6 (December 1942). Each contains various articles, photographs and cartoons pertaining to air force activities and aircraft, with many members of the RCAF featured, along with assorted local advertisements towards the back. The first four magazines contain twenty-four pages on a white paper stock, with covers in a thick paper stock in various colours, printed in maroon, blue, black and maroon inks respectively; the December Christmas edition (Number 6) containing fifty-six pages on a white paper stock, its cover in a thick beige paper stock, printed in red and green inks. Each magazine is dual staple-bound, measuring 227 mm x 305 mm, exhibiting light soiling on the exterior covers, the December Christmas edition with soiling evident on the first page. Very fine.
