Entitled "FÉDÉRATION NATIONALE DES ASSOCIATIONS DE MUTILÉS, VICTIMES DE GUERRE & D'ANCIENS COMBATTANTS" (National Federation of the Associations of Mutilated, Victims of War and Veterans Affairs), illustrating a standing nun with her hand resting upon the shoulder of a young boy holding a book at the left and a French soldier in full battle uniform at the right, with the organization's insignia backed by a wreath composed of oak leaves and laurel leaves, along with crossed flaming torches, all of which is backed by an ornate frame and housing oak leaves at the upper left and laurel leaves at the upper right, inscribed "Fondée en 1888 / Siège Social 1bis Rue Vaneau, Paris. / DIPLOME d'HONNEUR / Décerné à Monsieur Schenck Chrétien Salins les Bains, Le 9, Juillet 1933" (Founded in 1888 / Head Office 1bis Rue Vaneau, Paris. / Honour Diploma / Awarded to Mr. Schenck Chrétien Salins les Bains, July 9, 1933), signed by "Le Président," (President) and "Le Secrétaire Général," (Secretary General), and engraver marked "DESBOIS. & NEPPER GRAVEURS." at the lower right, printed in four-colour inks, with the individual handwritten entries and signatures in black pen ink, on an off-white paper stock, board-mounted, measuring 497 mm (w) x 354 mm (h), with a string affixed to the reverse for wall hanging, with tape repair to "GUERRE" in the heading and the adjoining rule, near extremely fine.
