What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

In bronze, marked "COPIED FROM THE FRENCH MEDAL" on the edge, obverse illustrating the right-facing bust of Napoleon Bonaparte, inscribed "NAPOLEON" at the left and "EMP. ET ROI" at the right, engraver marked "DROZ FECIT." and "DENON DIREXI", all within a reeded border, reverse illustrating a standing nude man (representing France) lifting another nude man with two serpent's tails (Representing England), surrounded by the inscription "DESCENTE EN ANGLETERRE" and inscribed "FRAPPE A LONDRES EN 1804" below, measuring 41 mm in diameter, spotting, contact marks, very fine.
 
Footnote: This medal was produced in advance of the invasion of England, scheduled for 1804 but was never carried out. A later English striking was made of this medal, as presented here.
