In silver with navy blue enamels, maker marked on the obverse of the loop, measuring 44.2 mm (w) x 72.8 mm (h) inclusive of its wreath and laterally-pierced ball suspension, intact enamels, on its original full-length neck ribbon, extremely fine.
Footnote: The Order of the Pléiade (AKA Order of the Francophonie and the Dialogue of Cultures) is an order of the International Organization of the Francophonie. It was created in 1976 by its Parliamentary Assembly and recognizes the merits of personalities who have distinguished themselves by serving the ideals of co-operation and friendship of the Francophonie. The order comes in five classes: Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer and Knight.
