A Cross of the European Confederation of Former Combatants and Award Document, Named to Jacques Kosciusko-Morizet, French Ambassador to the United States ; In gilt metal with red and white enamels, measuring 43.5 mm (w) x 45 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, original ribbon with twelve stars. Extremely fine. The cross is mounted at the upper right of its Award Document, issued by the European Confederation of Former Combatants, Council of the Combatant's Cross of Europe, conferred upon Jacques Kosciusko-Morizet at Paris on June 6, 1974 (who at the time was French Ambassador to the United States, from 1972 to 1977), with the printed signatures of the General Delegate of the European Confederation of Former Combatants (A.R. de Fougerolles) and the President of the Council of the Combatant's Cross of Europe (Army General Bethouart), signed in green ink by the President of the Association, the document printed in black, red, blue and gold-coloured inks, the printed image of the cross embossed at the upper centre, printed in France, mounted to a foam core backer, exhibiting scattered soiling and creasing, document fine.
