What's a max bid?

Order of the Legion of Honour, V Class, Knight (in silver with white, blue and green enamels, gilt centrepieces, measuring 43 mm (w) x 62 mm (h) inclusive of its wreath and laterally-pierced ball suspension); and Honour Medal for Railways, Gold Grade (in silver gilt, engraver marked "GEORGES GUIRAUD" on the obverse, measuring 36 mm in diameter, gilt palm branch on its original ribbon). Each is mounted to the Order of the Legion of Honour, V Class, Knight Award Document, on the left and on the right respectively. The Award Document is named to John Bernaz, who was born on September 6, 1886 in Jussy, Switzerland, former soldier of the 1st Class of Artillery, who was to take the rank of Knight (Chevalier) of the Order of the Legion of Honour as of January 27, 1977, the document issued at Paris on November 3, 1976 and bearing the embossed seal of the Grand Chancellor of the Legion of Honour, with three signatures, signed in blue ink by French President Valéry Giscard d'Estaing, along with being signed in black ink by the Deputy Secretary-General and the Grand Chancellor of the Legion of Honour, the document designed by Henri Biais, printed in black ink by "Imprimerie Nationale" (National Printing), measuring 457 mm (w) x 338 mm (h), mounted to a foam core backer. Near extremely fine.
