Preis table medal in its presentation case of issue; a gilt zink table medal; the obverse showing a German field artillery gun operated by a single soldier; the reverse inscribed “Presschiessen “1936” 1. Preis” and etched “O-RTR Sonntag.”; measuring 50.60 mm in diameter; weighing 41.2 grams. Accompanied by its presentation case of issue; constructed of pressed paper, with a green faux leather (leatherette) exterior; the case damaged from storage; the table medal having lost of its original gilt finish through time; in overall near very fine condition.
