What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

(Bund Deutscher Mädel Mitgliedsabzeichen). Constructed of bronze; with its original fabric core (slightly faded); mounted to a metal plate with a horizontal pinback; measuring 28.83 mm (w) x 14.46 mm (h); in overall very fine condition.

Footnote: The BDM was the girl’s section of the Hitler Youth (HJ). it was the only female youth organization in Nazi Germany. At first, the League consisted of two sections: the Jungmädel for girls ages 10 to 14, and the League for girls ages 14-18. In 1938, a third section was introduced, the Faith and Beauty Society (Werk-Glaube und Schönheit), which was voluntarily and open to girls between ages 17 and 21.
