An example of a Luftwaffe Honour Goblet/Ehrenpokal der Luftwaffe awarded to Feldwebel Willi Giesler. The bowl with a outward-crimped rim, with a textured wall, depicting two eagles in combat and an Iron Cross 1939 First Class in high relief. The stem with a ribbon depicting oak leaves, and engraved “ Feldwebel Willi Giesler 11.2.1942” along the base of the goblet. The base itself is embossed with “Für Besondere Leistung im Luftkrieg”. Marked on bottom Feinsilber Alpaka Auflage, Johann Wagner & Sohn. With overall toning and wear to the base of the goblet, remains in good/fine condition. An unresearched example.
