A mixed lot of six belt buckles, including an Imperial Heer EM/NCO’s belt, constructed of partially silvered bronze, the obverse bearing a central raised crown, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) and laurel branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; a Weimar-era Fire Brigade buckle, constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse bearing a central Fire Brigade insignia, within a pebbled ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT ZUR EHR, DEM NÄCHSTEN ZUR WEHR” (“TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND DEFENCE OF OUR NEIGHBOURS”), the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; a late Weimar-era Fire Brigade buckle, constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a central Fire Brigade insignia, within a pebbled ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT ZUR EHR, DEM NÄCHSTEN ZUR WEHR” (“TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND DEFENCE OF OUR NEIGHBOURS”), the reverse with swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a Finnish Army M22 belt buckle, constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised and crowned lion clutching a sword, set within a circular laurel wreath, the reverse with a bar and swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 68 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; an unknown Officer’s buckle, constructed of patinated bronze, the obverse bearing a central raised coat of arms within a circular laurel wreath, the reverse with a clip and swivel buckle, unmarked, measuring 48 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition; accompanied by a NSDAP Political Leader’s claw-style buckle, constructed of silvered bronze, the reverse marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo, maker’s code of “M5/71”, and logo of Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid, measuring 40 mm (w) x 58 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
