What's a max bid?

(Auszeichnung und Insignien). A mixed lot of three decorations and insignia, including:

 

 

1. A German Field Honour Badge, constructed of silvered and gilded bronze with enamels, the obverse consisting of an elongated eight-pointed radiant star, the obverse bearing a central oval medallion overlaid by a raised German soldier in Stahlhelm and full field gear, surrounded by a pebbled gilt border, in turn forming the centrepiece of a white enameled Cross Pattée with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the obverse applique in place, etched with an inscription of “DEUTSCHES FELD-EHRENZEICHEN” (“GERMAN FIELD HONOUR BADGE”), with a block hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, marked “HAMBURG 11”, measuring 52.55 mm (w) x 63.98 mm (h), weighing 31.0 grams, moderate loss of finish is evident throughout the base metal in addition to flecking and slight cracking of the enamels with possible repair attempts visible to the twelve o’clock arm, in very fine condition.

 

 

2. A Kriegsmarine EM/NCO’s tropical breast eagle, constructed of light brown rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered golden-brown Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 130 mm (w) x 58 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.

 

 

3. A Luftwaffe Fleet Air Arm EM/NCO’s sleeve badge, constructed of dark grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey insignia, unmarked, measuring 98 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
