What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A mixed lot of 14 insignia and accessories, including a Second World War Wehrmacht trench art cigarette case, constructed of a magnetic metal shell, the lid bearing a raised sword and Stahlhelm above an inscription of “WESTFRONT”, the interior with a wooden liner, unmarked, measuring 85 mm (w) x 78 mm (l) x 34 mm (h), with some oxidation evident in addition to loosening of some of the wood planks, in very fine condition; a Heer Infanterie-Ersatz-Bataillon 318 identity tag, constructed of zink, perforated with three suspension holes, measuring 70 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in fair condition; an Imperial Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened bronze, unmarked, measuring 38 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), missing its pinback and with the remnants of adhesives visible to the reverse, in poor condition; two sets of Imperial Pickelhaube rosettes, all constructed of painted magnetic metal and measuring 48 mm in diameter, in overall near extremely fine condition; an Austro-Hungarian Bravery Medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, the obverse designer marked “TAUTENHAYN”, measuring 30 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition; a wartime patriotic shell, unmarked, measuring 14 mm (w) x 30 mm (h), in very fine condition, and; five bronze pips with butterfly clips, unmarked, in overall very fine condition.
