(Medaillen). A pair of medals, including a Baden Golden Merit Medal, constructed of gilded silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised and leftward-facing profile of Grand Duke Friedrich II, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “FÜR VERDIENST” (“FOR MERIT”), the obverse engraver marked “RM” for Rudolf Mayer, measuring 38.23 mm in diameter, weighing 27.0 grams, with minor tarnish evident, in near extremely fine condition, and; a Free State of Württemberg Medal of the King Karl Jubilee Foundation, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with clasp and horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing a raised and rightward-facing profile of King Karl, circumscribed by an inscription of “KOENIG KARL - JUBILAEUMSTIFTUNG” (“KING KARL - JUBILEE INSTITUTED”), the reverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “FÜR LANGJÄHRIGE TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR LONG YEARS OF FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 26.02 mm in diameter, weighing 17.6 grams (inclusive of ribbon and clasp), with some tarnis evident, in near extremely fine condition.
