Germany. A Wehrmacht Heer (Army) EM/NCO’s Standard Service Belt and Tab; Dated 1941
A textbook example of a worn Wehrmacht Heer (Army) EM/NCO’s service belt buckle; constructed of steel with an olive drab paint finish; the obverse with a circular rope with the lower half of the circle filled with an oak wreath, and the other half inscribed “Got Mit Uns” with a smaller circular rope, with a raised lightly textured field with a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika in its talons; with a chocolate brown leather tab, maker marked “J. Feix-Söhne, Gablonz-Sudetenland, 1941”; the buckle measuring 63 mm x 48 mm; with approximately 40% of its original finish remaining; in overall very fine condition.
