A wartime made example of a complete Wehrmacht Heer (Army) Officer’s visor cap insignia, consisting of an eagle and a wreath, 1) The eagle constructed of silvered zink; with all three prongs perfectly preserved; an unmarked example; measuring 67 mm (w) x 27 mm (h). 2) The wreath constructed of aluminum; with two prongs broken off, and one set of double-prongs preserved on the bottom of the wreath, but bent out of shape; unmarked; accompanied by a tri-colour cockade constructed of aluminum; in overall fine condition.
