(Ringkragen) or gorgets were worn by Germany Army regimental standard bearers; this is a die stamped central plaque of the gorget, in nickel-silver, with dull patinated finish, measuring 117mm x 103mm, extremely well executed with excellent, crisp details, complete with 4 bolts for the attachment on the reverse; in extremely fine condition, and scarce.
