What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Constructed of silver, with a brown leather adjustable strap, with a white face marked with Arabic numerials 1-12 notched at five second intervals, with formerly luminous hour and minute arms, with a retractable dial for winding the watch and adjusting the time displayed, interior with silver mark of “.875” with additional hallmarks and serial number “1857596”, with handwritten inscription “AN MEINEM ARM 1914-1918, 1938, 1939-1945, 1954”, strap with handwritten inscription “WELT-KRIEG FRONT 1914-1918”, watch case measuring 33 mm in diameter with 255 mm-long strap, non-functional, in very fine condition.
