(Panzerkampfabzeichen in Silber). A badge constructed of oval shaped neusilber (nickel silver) construction, the obverse with a border of oak leaves tied at the base, a Heer-style national eagle clutching a mobile swastika perches at the top of the wreath, a Panzerkampfwagen IV superimposed in the centre on grassy ground, with its left tank track extending over the edge of the badge, the reverse with a vertical needle style pin, a sheet metal hinge, and a C shaped hook catch, unmarked but textbook features of maker C.E. Juncker of Berlin, measuring 41.83 mm (w) x 60.06 mm (h), weighing 20.4 grams, and in extremely fine condition.
