Germany, HJ. A 1938 Hamburg Combat Games Badge

(HJ Reichskampf Abzeichen). Constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, vertical pinback, the obverse with a raised depiction of a ship passing through a gate, above a German national eagle clutching a cogwheel with a central enameled HJ insignia, flanked by a date of “1938” and circumscribed by an inscription of “REICHSKAMPF HAMBURG”, measuring 40 mm (w) x 52 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
