Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse with a raised German national eagle clutching a HJ insignia, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “BLUT UND EHRE” (“BLOOD AND HONOUR”), the reverse with a loop and dual attachment prongs, maker marked with the logo of F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid, also marked with the logo of distributor Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), oxidation evident, in overall very fine condition.
