Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse with a central HJ-style German national eagle clutching a HJ insignia, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “BLUT UND EHRE” (“BLOOD AND HONOUR”), the reverse with a loop and dual attachment prongs, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and code “4/79” for maker Hillenbrand & Bröer, Lüdenscheid, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
