Constructed of silver, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central initial “W”, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the reverse with three central oak leaves, the six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the twelve o’clock arm with initials “FW” topped by a royal crown, marked “M.F.H.” (unknown maker) on the suspension loop, with black and white ribbon, measuring 43.05 mm (w) x 47.91 mm (h), weighing 15.3 grams, very fine.

Dated 25 February 1916, stamped and signed. Presenting two folding creases with two holes punched at the left side. Minimal discolouration, tears and scuffing. Measuring 211 mm (w) x 166 mm (h), very fine.

With a black border, presenting four folding creases and two holes punched at the left side. With some discolouration and scuffing. Measuring 193 mm (w) x 120 mm (h), very fine.
A Wound Badge, Black Grade, (Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz). Constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, with a central Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 38.38 mm (w) x 43.47 mm (h), weighing 13.2 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
