A 1914 Iron Cross II Class, (Eisernes Kreuz 1914 II. Klasse). Reinstituted 5 August 1914. (1914-1918 issue). Constructed of silver, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central initial “W”, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the reverse with three central oak leaves, the six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the twelve o’clock arm with initials “FW” topped by a royal crown, marked “M.F.H.” (unknown maker) on the suspension loop, with black and white ribbon, measuring 43.05 mm (w) x 47.91 mm (h), weighing 15.3 grams, very fine.

A 1914 Iron Cross II Class Award Document to Unteroffizier Gerhard Georg Dammeyer of the 3rd Battery 34th Field Artillery Regiment, on cream coloured paper. Dated 25 February 1916, stamped and signed. Presenting two folding creases with two holes punched at the left side. Minimal discolouration, tears and scuffing. Measuring 211 mm (w) x 166 mm (h), very fine.

A 1914 Iron Cross I Class(Eisernes Kreuz 1914 I. Klasse). Reinstituted 5 August 1914. (1914-1918 issue). Constructed of silver, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central initial “W”, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the reverse is plain and bears a vertical banjo-style pinback with a flat wire catch, marked “CD 800” (Carl Dillenius, Pforzheim), measuring 42.93 mm (w) x 42.98 mm (h), weighing 18.1 grams, very fine.

A 1914 Iron Cross I Class Document to Unteroffizier Gerhard Georg Dammeyer of the 3rd Battery 34th Field Artillery Regiment, on cream coloured paper. Issued 6 May 1918, stamped and signed. With a black border, presenting four folding creases and two holes punched at the left side. With some discolouration and scuffing. Measuring 193 mm (w) x 120 mm (h), very fine.

A Wound Badge, Black Grade, (Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz). Constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, with a central Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 38.38 mm (w) x 43.47 mm (h), weighing 13.2 grams, in near extremely fine condition.

A Wound Badge in Black Award Document to Unteroffizier Gerhard Georg Dammeyer of the 3rd Battery 34th Field Artillery Regiment, on cream coloured paper. Issued 21 September 1918, stamped and signed. Presenting two folding creases with two holes punched at the left side. Minor discolouration, scuffing and creasing. Measuring 217 mm (w) x 171 mm (h), very fine.
