Layaway Policy

eMedals INC. is pleased to offer flexible layaway services to all clients. Our layaway program offers the opportunity for clients to make payments on eligible items over a period of three (3) months.

A minimum deposit of 30% of the total price of your order including all applicable taxes and Buyer’s Premium, is due at the time of initial purchase. The total price of your order must be paid within three months from the date of original purchase.

You may make additional payments at any time by accessing the Layaway section in your account or by calling our office and submitting payment details.

Your contract will be automatically cancelled and ordered merchandise will be returned to inventory if full payment is not submitted by the three (3) month deadline.

What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A thirty-nine page photo album, the title page reads “DIE FREIE HANSESTADT HAMBURG UND IHRE UMGEBUNG nach photographischen Aufnahmen von Hof-Photograph Wilhelm Dreesen in Flensburg 37 blatt mit 126 Bildern in Lichtdruck und Titelzeichnung von H. de Bruycker Hamburg VERLAG VON OTTO MEISSNER” (THE FREE HANSESTADT HAMBURG AND ITS ENVIRONMENT after photographs by court photographer Wilhelm Dreesen in Flensburg 37 sheets with 126 pictures in light print and title drawing by H. de Bruycker Hamburg PUBLISHED BY OTTO MEISSNER), the second page bears the table of contents entitled “Verzeichnis der Bilder” (Directory of Pictures), missing the first page of pictures, the photographs depict different areas, buildings and infrastructure of the city of Hamburg, the reverse of the pages are lined with paper to avoid contact with the photographs on the succeeding page, within a brown smooth leather embossed case, the exterior obverse is embossed in gilt letters “DIE FREIE UND HANSESTADT HAMBURG UND IHRE UMGEBUNG” (THE FREE AND HANSESTADT HAMBURG AND ITS ENVIRONMENT), below is a circular image of the city with swans in the water, buildings and a bridge, encompassed by an ornate frame with the Hamburg coat of arms at the top in gilt and red paint, the bottom of the frame is covered by an anchor and a paddle crossed, superimposed over netting, reeds, typha and other foliage, below the centre image is a gilt and paint crowned coat of arms with gilt oak leaf branches on the left and right sides, the exterior reverse is plain, the interior is constructed of ornate coloured paper patterned with a sailing ship with a large sail, with sun rays beaming down encompassed by a border with flowers and two eagles perched eagles looking down over the ship, the interior right bears three flaps of the same ornate coloured paper as a means of holding the pages in the album, the interior back bears an article from the Hamsburg Correspondent reading “Sonder Abdruck aus dem "Hamburg Correspondenten" Mergen-Ausgabe vom 2 october 194 Neue Bilder aus Hamburg”, measuring 370 mm (w) x 517 mm (h), very fine.
