What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

(Gedenkmedaillen). A grouping of four medals, including a Württemberg Silver Military Merit Medal, a round medal constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse depicting the rightward facing bust of Wilhelm, circumscribed by his name and title, the reverse inscribed FÜR TAPFERKEIT UND TREUE (German - For Bravery and Loyalty) within a laurel wreath, on a double loop for suspension from a period original ribbon, measuring 28.55 mm in diameter, in overall near very fine condition. A regimental commemorative cross, constructed of gilded metal, presenting as a cross pattée with stippled arms bordered in a rope-like border, with swords crossing through the centre, the obverse centre presents a medallion bearing the crowned FIIR cipher of King Friedrich II of Prussia within an oak leaf wreath, the left and right cross arms bear the inscription TREU DEM and REGIMENT (LOYAL TO THE REGIMENT), the reverse presents a circular central medallion bearing an eagle within an oak leaf wreath, the upper arm presents crossed swords, the lower arm bearing an oak spray, the left and right arms inscribed ALLZEIT BEREIT (ALWAYS READY), measuring approximately 39.48 mm (w) x 43.85 mm, presenting discolouration due to blue paint, and in poor condition. A round silver medal for 15 years of service as a volunteer firefighter, measuring 36.26 mm in diameter, and in good condition. A Brunswick Peninsula Commemorative Medal, Death’s Head (17th) Hussars, 1809-1909, constructed of circular bronze, the obverse presents the portrait of Friedrich Wilhelm, Duke of Brunswick, in military uniform facing left, circumscribed by FRIEDRICH WILHELM HERZOG ZU BRAUNSCHWEIG, the reverse presents a death’s head with a ribbon banner below inscribed PENINSULA imposed on oak and laurel branches, dated 1809 and 1909, measuring 34.58 mm in diameter, presenting age oxidization marks with evidence of period repair, missing loop for ribbon suspension, and in good condition.
