A group of five First War period badges, including a Shrine of Altötting Iron Cross badge, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 31 mm (w) x 31 mm, in very fine condition; a 1915 Christmas badge, constructed of zink, vertical pinback, measuring 20 mm (w) x 32 mm (h), in better than very fine condition; an Order of the Black Eagle badge, constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, unmarked measuring 28 mm (w) x 28 mm (h), in better than very fine condition; a 1914 Kaiser Wilhelm II badge, constructed of silvered bronze, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 28 mm in diameter, in very fine condition, and; a veteran’s boutonniere, constructed of bronze with enamels, illegible maker’s marks on reverse, measuring 17 mm (w) x 26 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
