A lot of medals, including a War Cross of the Ehrenbund for German First World War Participants, with Swords, constructed of a bronze Maltese cross, with swords attached to the 12 o’clock cross arm, the obverse centre presenting an eagle with the coat of arms, on the 9 o’clock arm is the date 1914, on the 3 o’clock arm is the date 1918, the reverse centre presents the inscription EHREN-BUND DEUTSCH WELTKRIEGS TEILNEHMER E.V., measuring 41.99 mm (w) x 43.57 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in better than very fine condition. A Bavarian 25 Year Loyal Industry Service Medal, in die-struck silver, an oval medal, the obverse centre presenting two lions holding a cog wheel mounted over a blue and white enamelled shield, which in turn sits above an acorn and oak leaves, the reverse centre bears the inscription FÜR 25 JAHRE TREUE DIENSTE (FOR 25 YEARS OF FAITHFUL SERVICE), circumscribed by the inscription VERBAND BAYERISCHER INDUSTRIELLEN (ASSOCIATION OF BAVARIAN INDUSTRIES), measuring 33.68 mm (w) x 44.94 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original blue and white ribbon mounted to a single medal bar with horizontal pinback, and in very fine condition, accompanied by a miniature version, measuring 15.34 mm (w) x 19.79 mm (h), accompanied by the case of issue.
