Germany, Imperial. A Wound Badge, Black Grade (Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz). An oval badge constructed of blackened tombac, the obverse with a Stahlhelm in the centre, superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom, the reverse presents a vertical pin assembly, measuring 38.42 mm (w) x 43.42 mm (h); Germany, Wehrmacht. A Wound Badge, Gold Grade, (Verwundetenabzeichen). Constructed of gilded zink, the obverse with an oval laurel wreath, with a central Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords, on a pebbled field, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 36.73 mm (w) x 44.25 mm (h); Germany, Empire. An Honour Legion Furg Dagerland Medal, 1915, A circular medal constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing the image of a robed woman with wings placing a laurel crown on the head of a soldier holding a helmet and rifle, the obverse bears a central iron cross paty with a crown on the 12 o’clock arm and the date “1914” on the 6 o’clock arm circumscribed with “FURG DAGERLAND” and oak leaves and acorns at the bottom, measuring 32.47 mm (w) x 36.33 mm (h), on a triangular red, black and white striped ribbon; Germany, Imperial. An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 with Swords. (Das Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918). A straight-armed cross paty constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the arms bear a raised border and two upwards facing crossed swords sit in the quadrants between the arms, the obverse centre bears the dates “1914 1918” and is encompassed by an open top laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the bottom, the reverse is plain and bears the maker mark “W.K.”, on a red, black and white striped ribbon with metal backer, measuring 37.71 mm (w) x 37.92 mm (h), all very fine.
