What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A lot of four service medals, including a War Commemorative Medal 1870/71 for Combatants, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from a trapezoidal magnetic metal backplate with a horizontal pinback and a period original length of ribbon, unmarked, measuring 29.02 mm in diameter, weighing 13.9 grams, in near extremely fine condition; a War Commemorative Medal 1870/71 for Non-Combatants, constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 29.10 mm in diameter, weighing 12.4 grams, in near extremely fine condition; a 15-Year Long Service Cross, constructed of coppered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with a central raised crown, the reverse with a central number “15” in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 35.93 mm (w) x 39.24 mm (h), weighing 15.9 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition, and; an Honour Cross of the World War 1914-1918 for Combatants, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with central wreathed dates “1914-1918” with crossed swords piercing the center, the reverse with a maker’s mark of “R.V.” for Reichsverband Pforzheim, measuring 37.80 mm (w) x 42.41 mm (h), weighing 14.0 grams, in extremely fine condition.
