(Verleihungsetui). Constructed of a wooden frame with a faux brown leather exterior liner, the interior featuring a padded white satin lid liner, bearing a maker’s mark of “J. GODET & SOHN, HOFLIEFERANTEN, SR: MAJESTÄT DES KÖNIGS”, featuring a padded black velvet medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, demonstrating moderate material fatigue to the exterior of the case and minor soiling to the lid liner, most likely configured for the presentation and storage of a medal chain, an example of a high-quality Godet case in better than very fine condition.
