What's a max bid?

(Abzeichen). A mixed lot of three Central Powers patriotic badges, including:

1. A shield badge, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse bearing the flags of Austria, Hungary, Germany, and the Ottoman Empire, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 22 mm (w) x 24 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

2. A first war year pendant badge, constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, the obverse featuring the flags of Austria, Germany, and the Ottoman Empire, joined together by a white plaque bearing dates “1914-15”, with a hanger descending from the lower edge taking the form of a Hapsburg-style imperial eagle, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, the main badge measuring 29 mm (w) x 20 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

3. An unusual pendant badge, constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, the obverse featuring the flags of Austria and Germany joined together by a Hungarian coat of arms, with a hanger descending from the lower edge and featuring an Ottoman flag, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, the main badge measuring 36 mm (w) x 20 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
