What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A mixed lot of 11 medals and badges, including a War Commemorative Medal of 1870/71, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 29.02 mm in diameter, weighing 15.0 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in very fine condition; a Friedrich August Medal, constructed of coppered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 28.50 mm in diameter, weighing 13.0 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in fair condition; a German Red Cross Medal, constructed of sink, on a replacement loop for suspension from a period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 33.10 mm (w) x 36.46 mm (h), 13.6 grams (inclusive of ribbon), with loss of finish throughout, in fair condition; a Cross for Voluntary War Assistance, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 41.94 mm (w) x 41.79 mm (h), weighing 18.6 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in very fine condition; two Honour Crosses of the World War 1914/1918, each constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, both suspended from period original ribbons (one incorrect), one maker marked “O & B” for an unidentified maker, both measuring 37.40 mm (w) x 42.17 mm (h) and weighing 15.6 grams (inclusive of ribbons), one demonstrating significant oxidation, in overall very fine condition; a Kyffhäuser War Commemorative Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from a period original ribbon with backplate and horizontal pinback, designer marked “HOSAEUS”, measuring 31.00 mm (w) x 47.21 mm (h), weighing 22.9 grams (inclusive of ribbon and backplate), in near extremely fine condition; also including four Prussian veterans’ organization membership badges, all constructed of bronze with enamels and embroidery, in overall very fine condition.
