A pair of badges, including a Baden Civil Merit Medal, constructed of gilded silver, the obverse bearing a raised leftward-facing profile of Grand Duke Friedrich II, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a wreathed inscription of “FÜR VERDIENST” (“FOR MERIT”), unmarked, measuring 38.18 mm in diameter, weighing 29.5 grams, in extremely fine condition, and; a Württemberg Fire Brigade 25-Year Service Badge, constructed of gilded bronze and affixed to a period original ribbon, the reverse maker marked “WILH. MAYER & FRZ. WILHELM, STUTTGART”, measuring 40 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
