A pair of First World War Central Powers patriotic badges, including one constructed of silvered bronze with a horizontal pinback, the obverse consisting of a central depiction of Kaiser Wilhelm II and Emperor Franz Joseph clutching standards, circumscribed by the names of enemy nations and above dates “1914-15”, unmarked, measuring 28 mm (w) x 36 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; one constructed of gilded bronze with a horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing the flags of Germany, Austria-Hungary, and the Ottoman Empire, above an inscription of “GOTT SCHÜTZE UNSER VATERLAND” (“GOD PROTECT OUR FATHERLAND”), within a circular Grecian broder, measuring 26 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
