The Friedrich August Medal in Bronze certificate is named to Gefreiter (lance corporal) Otto Bernhard Max Naumann in the 12th Company of Landwehr Infantry Regiment 101, “for bravery in the battles near Strzegowo (present day Poland). Dated to April 23, 1915 and signed in black ink by the Commander of Brigade Graf Pfeil, Oberst (colonel) Traugott von Pfeil und Klein-Ellguth (1860–1920). Measuring 210 mm (w) x 327 mm (h), presenting two folding creases, intermittent overall creasing, and fraying of the edges, remains fine.
