(Silberne Tafelmesser). Constructed of gilded silver, consisting of a non-serrated blade, plain with the exception of a maker’s mark of “SY & WAGNER”, a crown and crescent moon indicating German manufacture, and a silver content number of “800”, set into a stylized handle, the obverse bearing a raised Hohenzoller imperial eagle, the reverse bearing a raised monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II, measuring 20 mm (w) x 222 mm (l), weighing 76.8 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
