Germany, Imperial. A Silver Hohenzollern Fish Knife, by Johann Wagner & Sohn
(Fischmesser). Constructed of silver, consisting of a ribbed handle, the obverse bearing a raised Hohenzollern coat of arms, with a blade completing in a scalloped point, maker marked on the reverse “J. WAGNER & SOHN” for the Berlin-based silversmith, along with a crown and crescent moon indicating German manufacture, as well as a silver content number of “800”, measuring 26 mm (w) x 218 mm (l), weighing 64.4 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
