(Wilhelmskreuz für Kriegsverdienste, 1915-1918). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with a central inscription of “KRIEGS VERDIENST” (“WAR MERIT”), the reverse with a Fraktur initial “W”, the six o’clock arm with a date of “1915”, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, unmarked, measuring 44.00 mm (w) x 48.59 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
