A Saxon Heer (Army) Enlisted belt buckle, constructed of grey-painted magnetic steel, the obverse bearing a central raised crown, set within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “PROVIDENTIAE MEMOR” (“REMEMBER PROVIDENCE”) with laurel branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), demonstrating moderate loss of finish, in better than very fine condition.
2. A Sturmabteilung (SA) buckle, constructed of partially-silvered brass, the obverse bearing a central raised German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, set within a ribbed ring bearing oak leaf branches, the reverse with swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in near near extremely fine condition.
